Mana was founded in 1984 by the Waddell Family and has grown from a small bus operator to a significant player. The Company has always operated in the Northern Wellington regions, and has grown its patronage to almost four million passengers per annum.
Mana’s major sources of revenue are from urban bus, school bus and charter bus services.
Mana operates in the Northern Wellington region, primarily in the Newlands/Johnsonville, Porirua and Kapiti areas. Mana also offers regular and casual charter services throughout the greater Wellington region.
Mana owns three freehold purpose-built bus depots and workshops located at Newlands, Waitangirua and Paraparaumu. The Group operates a fleet of 100 urban buses, 12 charter coaches and three support vehicles.
The Company has a current staff of 165 employees embodying the family principles on which Mana was founded.
